Important Announcements & Updates=

  • 21:14, October 17, 2014 (UTC): I am now setting an official sign up end date of Tuesday, 21 October 2014 (subject to change). Any spots that are still open on that date will be filled from the list of users that reserved the option of having a 2nd character in the event in the case of openings. Also, if you would like to help create power sets for the Roman deities that need one, please see Bach.
  • 21:39, October 19, 2014 (UTC): Currently all of the Roman demigod spots are filled. However, that does not mean much if users do not get the pages completed and the strengths/weaknesses filled out/added. All users with the Roman spots must have the character page made and the weaknesses/strengths chosen by 25 October 2014 or else the spots will be given away to the reserved users in order that they signed up for reserved spots.
  • 21:39, October 19, 2014 (UTC): There are still 3 empty spots for Greek demigods, please remember they must be characters already through claiming on the chbrp wiki. Whatever spots are still empty on the 21st of October will be given out, in order that they requested, to the users with reserved spots. All users with Greek spots must have the weaknesses/strengths filled out by 25 October 2014 or else the spots will be given away to the reserved users in order that they signed up for reserved spots.
  • 03:45, October 21, 2014 (UTC): Voting for what phase 10 (the final phase) will be is taking place here. If you want to put your input in, do it soon.
  • 21:56, October 21, 2014 (UTC): I am updating the due date for phase two (Roman char pages and weaknesses/strengths) to be done by the end of the day (eastern standard time) of the 27th, so that the 28th marks the start of Phase three hopefully. If users need longer, I need to be notified. Please keep in mind, Roman histories do not have to be a page long detailing every month of their life prior to the battle/war. It just needs to be a basic and short summary showing that they are indeed a character and not just a random name and demigod parent you chose.
  • 13:01, October 28, 2014 (UTC) : I am pushing back the official start of Phase three by just one day (fingers crossed), so it will/should officially start at 12noon (eastern standard time) on 29th October (for those in the Asia areas it'll be around midnight 30 October).
  • 15:22, October 29, 2014 (UTC) : Phase Three has begun, as of now it will run between 29 October and 9 November, however if it finishes earlier we'll begin phase four sooner.
  • 20:12, November 5, 2014 (UTC): Just a reminder I was hoping to officially end phase three around 9th Oct. At this point barely half the entries are in which means something like 16 to 18 still need to be turned in. I realise people have lives off the internet, school, obligations, etc. Please also keep in mind this event was something you signed up and agreed to do, you weren't forced, it wasn't mandatory, you wanted to. Phase three requirements was just to pick a power and write out one fight post that generally average 1 to 2 paragraphs tops (6 to 10 sentences). If you can't get that turned in within a couple of weeks after having known about it since you signed up (if you didn't read ahead that's on you). If you are struggling to do that simple a phase, how are you going to handle the longer phases where all users have to post a minimum of 6 posts each? I'd prefer not to have to stretch a phase that only involves, well, it took me about 5 minutes to type the example post, so it would be quite frustrating to have to turn phase three into this like 1 to 2 month long phase. I'm willing to extend the deadline for phase three till 16th October, but at that point if at least 28 of the 32 entries aren't in, I will pull the entire event.

  • 18:45, November 15, 2014 (UTC) : Phase three will be officially over as of 6am eastern standard time on 17th November 2014 (for those of you in the Asia area that will be around 6pm on the 17th, for those of you in the California area, that would be around 3am on the 17th, in the Britain/European area, around 10/11am on the 17th). As of right now there are still 8 users who have not posted their entries. Initially I said that I would not continue the event unless that number was less than 6, however I have worked it out so that we will continue no matter what. HOWEVER, any user who does not complete their entry will have points deducted, which will hurt their team scores, for punishment. Now, I am aware that users have things to do off the wiki, lots of which is quite important real life obligations. However, I also know that some users who have yet to post, have been actively editing and posting in other areas of Wiki. If you have time to goof off, roleplay with others, do personal edits, you have time to fulfil the obligations that you agreed to when you signed up for this event. Phase three was also the easiest and quickest event to complete, so for users who struggled to write a simple paragraph within a month, future phases will be even more problematic as they will require even more time and attention. Please remember, when you agree to something, whatever that something may be, you have given your word. Others are depending on you to at least make a truly honest effort so that they also may have fun. If you are unable to fulfil tasks, then it is up to you to find someone to post for you or to help you. It is also up to you to let Admins know what's going on and why you are unable to get your tasks done. Please remember this as we soon proceed into phase four.

General points and important things to know:

  1. Powers: Any Roman deities with a Greek counterpart that is already on chbrp and has a power set, we will use that power set. So for instance Venus would just use Aphrodite powers. If the Roman deity has no power set at all on the chbrp wiki, then we will make a power set that matches/is fair up against all the other power sets. This is why we need to know in advance what Roman gods you will be using. We will make sure up have power sets before phase 3 begins.
  2. Who can Sign up?: Anyone, doesn't matter what level you are on chbrp, Entry level, level one, level five, etc. However, if you are using a Greek character, it has to have already gone through claiming on the chbrp wiki. Because the Guild wiki is hosting the Roman characters, claiming won't be necessary, but you will need some basics, Two - Roman Characters See Below
  3. How long will this take? Excellent question, hard to say, but with each phase different and each phase having a winner, I'm hoping that even if this takes 6 months with everyone's other schedules and life events, that we keep people's interest.
  4. What happens when someone stops posting or doesn't finish an entry for something? If they had a partner they were working with who is still active, we will do our best to give them some points, but for the most part incomplete entries or unfinished fights/roleplays will be given 0 points for the score. Users who do not post at all will also be penalised 25 points from their team's score.
  5. Wiki Rules? For the most part we will be following chbrp policies and rules for this event as they are a pg13 wiki with a more specific canon and rules. However, the exception is when it comes to creating the Roman characters, there is no claiming for them.
  6. Judges/Scoring: Not all phases are judged/scored by the same criteria, but scores from each phase will be tallied up and pull over so that at the end each team has accumulative scores. It is these accumulative scores that will decide which team wins at the end (not the last man standing, though each phase will have winners that will get to pick prizes). Because each phase is different, if we can't find users to help judge that aren't participating in the event, we will make sure to rotate judges so that it is never the same users judging (only applies if they are judging and participating in the event).
  7. Who Wins the Event? Each phase (phases three through ten) will have an overall top scorer (winner) of that phase, but as far as who wins overall, that will be the entire team with the highest accumulated score (which means essentially 16 users, because there are 16 users per team).

The chbrp wiki will be giving out phase winner prizes as well as final prizes to the users on the winning team.

Phase Winner Prizes

You may pick one prize from the selections below

  1. Choose a character that will be allowed to skip waiting the allotted time for special powers, and have all the powers. For instance, say you have a Hypnos kid you just made, if you won a phase, you could skip waiting 9 months and have them already have access to all the Hypnos powers.
  2. Receive 10 minutes of face time with their godly parent and receive a gift/reward for winning (an Admin will rp the godparent). Or any god if god parent doesn't apply.
  3. Adopt a character and have it count as a minor. However this does not allow you to adopt one of your own characters have it count as a minor.

Final Team Prizes

This applies to all users on the winning team, even if they were eliminated in past phases, (the points they earned while in the game still applied to the total winning score).

  1. Recognition on the wiki's home page.

Each member of the winning team gets the three prizes listed below if they are the winning team

  1. A shiny new character spot
  2. Choose a character that will be allowed to skip waiting the allotted time for special powers, and have all the powers. For instance, say you have a Hypnos kid you just made, if you are on the winning team, you could skip waiting 9 months and have them already have access to all the Hypnos powers.
  3. Turn a major character into a minor character.

3. He's usually very bold and courageous, no matter how big or powerful his foe is.

1. His lack of formal training compared to the average camper.
2. His short temper.
3. If Jessy's in a battle with him, Ethan will be far more concerned with protecting her than anyone else. Which can possibly lead to causalities.

11 Max Jay

1. Due to the sheer amount of violent things she's done and witnessed, Max has no problem becoming an embodiment of war, unless she is already too drained.
2. She's spent lots of time honing her skills and testing her limits, which has resulted in her being extremely endurance, even in high-stress activities--which only adds to the fact that she will fight until she wins or cannot--absolutely cannot--fight any longer.
3. Max, though she is not the most outgoing person, is a good leader who can step back from a situation and analyse it quickly. She always listens to what her team has to say.

1. Because of the things she's experienced she sometimes has trouble turning off her aura or violence and war, which sometimes has nasty consequences.
2. She likes to win, but she's not going to cheat to do it. She has a code and she sticks to it, even if it costs her the battle.
3. She's extremely loyal to her comrades and is sometimes too ready to give her life for them, even if she doesn't particularly care for them.

12 Ally Nicki

1. Great leadership skills. When put in a situation in which she has to work with others, she will assume responsibility for the rest and make the best out of what she has on her hands.
2. Patient. Will think before making a move, is a good observer. Will take time weighing out her options to come to the best possible solution.
3. Fast runner and swimmer, especially when it comes to short distances.

1. Face to face confrontation with the enemy. Her weapon of choice is anything that can be used from a distance, be that a bow and arrows, throwing knives, or custom made spells and potions, and as such she'd rather stay back than engage in hand-to-hand, a sword fight, etc.
2. While she'd do anything to protect herself and the people she's working with, she isn't willing to cause fatal harm without enough provocation. She will try anything else before striking the last blow.
3. Has trust issues. Needs everyone to follow her orders, or at least someone else's if she can't assume the leader position, and won't hesitate to stop cooperating with anyone she doesn't find trustworthy enough, someone she sees as a threat to the rest. That makes her a poor team player.

13 Meredith TimeLord15

1. She is good with defence
2. She is usually calm and it can be easy for her to find solutions (a way out)
3. She is pretty much comfortable using a bow and arrow

1. She is not that good with sword fighting (or anything close range)
2. She isn't much of a fast runner

14 Valdexner Alswal Ryuux

1. Naturally have high speed
2. High reflex and good reaction
3. Calmly adapted with any kind of condition and make strategy in no time

1. Lack of Strength
2. Lack of Defence
3. Not easily trust people and always suspicious

15 Jojen Hyu

1. He can keep his cool under almost any situation, enabling him to perform efficiently even if under extreme pressure.
2. He is prudent and tactical in his actions, preferring to formulate plans rather than execute anything without thinking through.
3. He is physically apt, enabling him to endure more wounds than usual and fight with a variety of weapons and styles with ease.

1. He tends to be a sore loser and will do anything to turn the tables around.
2. He tends to rely too much on his powers, to the point of overestimating his capacity.
3. Although generally teamwork and cooperation aren't problems to him, there are times he won't follow orders, and will do things his own way, especially if he thinks it is the best option.

16 Axel Dead

1. Physically fit,
2. observant
3. can adapt to a situation well.

1. Too quick to make decisions
2. underestimates opponents
3. slightly shortsighted.

Phase Three - Immunity ChallengeEdit

Phase Three Has Ended:

The Greek team member with the highest score is Xax/Kyle.

The Roman team member with the highest score is Hyu/Jojen Syracuse.

These two users now have an immunity card that they can use at any point they'd like if they ever end up on the chopping block.

A total of 5 users did not get their entries in, this means that they have negative 25 points which hurts their overall team score.

Greek User(s) That Didn't Post:

  1. User:Kyo13/Daniel

Roman User(s) That Didn't Post:

  1. TimeLord15/Meredith
  2. Kib/Alessandra (Kib would have won for the Greek team, except they agreed they could handle having two characters in the event and because they only turned in one entry instead of two, they had 25 points also deducted from their Greek score)
  3. PJO/Jessamine
  4. Dead/Axel

Each user, for each character they own in the event, has to pick a power that their character has, and come up with the most creative way to use that power in a fighting post. Basically pick a power, pretend you are fighting an enemy, and come up with the most creative fight post you can utilising just that one power you chose (as well as any non-power related things, weapons, physical environment, etc). The post should be reasonably long, but not novel length, preferably one to two paragraphs tops.

Just because the focus is on creativity, doesn't mean you can pretend your character is a god or that none of the normal rules apply. It should still be fair, realistic and accurate. An example might be to take a Nyx power and create a cloud out of shadows that you could ride on and glide above your enemy unseen.

Enter Here
Entries go on this Board.

Total possible points 300, 3 judges

  • Creativity: 1 to 20 points, how creative were they, did they use their surroundings and other weapons as well.
  • Fair/Realistic: 1 to 20 points, are they doing absurd or even OP things with their character, are their movements accurate and realistic (like if they said they jumped out of a 10 story window despite not having any type of flight powers and landed safely as if it was only a few feet).
  • Spelling/Grammar: 1 to 20 points, self-explanatory I hope
  • Accuracy: 1 to 20 points, are they using the power correctly in the way it is intended
  • Detailed/Character Specific: 1 to 20 points, Are the posts relevant to the user's character? Do the posts fit with the character's fighting strengths and weaknesses? For instance, if someone puts that their character is a weak simmer, but in the post has their character swimming proficiently, then they aren't accurately portraying their character.

Judges Scoring/Discussion Board

Any Incomplete/Unfinished Entries
Anyone who doesn't complete this will be given 0 points. If more than one person doesn't complete, we will probably pair off users for teams who also had incompletes. However, no users will be eliminated this round, even those who don't finish or start their entries.

One user/character from each team will be chosen as the best, which will give them an immunity card that can be used if they end up on the elimination side of an elimination phase.

Because phase four will be a team effort, this exercise will also help us pair up users based on their skills and weaknesses. Brocky and I (Bach), will go through and try to pair up the users who get really high scores, with the users who get really low scores, which will even out the teams, well it should at least).

Phase Four - TeamworkEdit

Users are paired up based on the Phase Three results creating 4 teams on each side (2 Greek characters versus 2 Roman characters). Phase four is the first round that will have "casualties" and team eliminations, one team from each side, with the lowest combined scores, will be eliminated from the game.

This means you don't get to pick your team-mate, this is to keep things fair, we won't end up with weak users paired up with weak users, or strong users paired up with strong users that might make people feel there's no point in participating. At least that is the goal, and why phase 3 is all about getting a picture of each user's "best" moves.

For instance, I know a lot of users consider me (Bach) to be a strong rp'er and that going against me would be futile, but if I participate, I will be paired with a less strong rp'er and our skills will balance out, ergo making it all much more fair than usual teams vs teams events. This is only one phase, please do not think the entire thing will force you to be paired up with users you didn't choose. Time zones and availability (even any known rival users that don't get along) will be taken into consideration when choosing, as much as possible. To get this to work it is quite likely that some users will have to rp two characters in the event.

The posts need to be at least 6 posts from each user in the roleplay in order to count as complete, but users may post as much as they'd like, though I would suggest keeping it in the 6 to 12 post per user, as the most posts you do, the more time needed to complete phase four.

When each group is done fighting they need to contact Bach or another Admin so we can get things judged.

To start your match, go to the "Entering the Fight" tab to the right of this one.

If you are having problems, questions or need to communicate to others OOC about the fight, you may use This Forum to keep everyone updated.

Now in the past when events required 2 users to fight 2 users, the outcome was judged by normal fight rp judging standards, the same formula each time that chbrp has been using for years now. It looks at how well the users fight the opponent, but not how well the teams work together. In this phase kicking your opponent's ass will not win you moving on to the next phase. This phase will have new judging criteria that looks at how well the partners work together.

Judging Criteria

Total possible points 300, 3 judges

  • Fairness to your partner: 1 to 25 points, Are you godmodding your own team-mate, are you acknowledging their posts, etc.
  • Teamwork: 1 to 25 points, You may not think it's clear from an rp how much ooc effort was put into it, but sometimes it can be painfully obvious that the users were not at all in sync on any level.
  • Creativity: 1 to 25 points, How creative are you and your team-mate being. Are you using more than just powers and weapons. However, there is a flip side to this, are you being too foofy and not constructive enough. Using lots of pretty adjectives and colourful big words does not win you the fight, you have to be both creative and realistic/constructive.
  • Balance: 1 to 25 points, Are your posts balanced? This could be achieved in a few ways. Perhaps one team-member stays on offence and the other on defence. Perhaps you switch back and forth evenly. What are you both relying on. If you are working together you should be in sync and fine balance between what you both are doing.

(15 points will be deducted from a team's scores if a user doesn't get at least 6 posts)

Incompletes/Not Finishing

If a user doesn't get to at least 6 posts but other members in that roleplay did get their posts we will attempt to still judge it like it finished, but 15 points will be deducted for every user that doesn't get in at least 6 posts. If an entire team doesn't post enough or at all, they will get 0 points (for instance if of 4 users, two users made a couple of posts each and the others made none, it'll be zero). We are going to try to make sure these teams are both fair, and work with users time zones, however if problems arise we can figure out something you simply have to notify me (Bach) or Brocky that there is a problem so we can fix it, if you don't tell us, then we can't help you.

Form for each match for scoring. Remember to take the total scores and put them back on the main page under the Phase Four section.

Instead of 8 teams winning and 8 teams losing like in past events, each team's scores will be tallied into a whole number, and added to the overall score from the Greek and Roman teams. As each phase passes, the score will continue to be tallied up.

One team from each side with the lowest scores combined will be eliminated. If it so happens that one of the users in a losing team has an immunity win from the previous phase, the user with the next lowest score will take their place in elimination.

The team with the highest combined total will be eligible for phase level prizes. (Which means 2 users will be getting prizes for this phase).

Phase Five - Immunity ChallengeEdit

Starting out with 28 characters, 14 on each team.

Not all wars and fights start out with both sides understanding and knowing what the reasons are. One side might know, while the other side is clueless, or maybe they suspect but can't be sure. Both sides have suffered casualties now, so it's powwow time. Every user (per user, not per character, so it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 2 characters in this, you only do one entry) will come up with reasons for this war. They will pick which side started it, what their reasons are, etc. The entries should be thorough, creative yet realistic, and a minimum of 2 to 3 paragraphs, but try to limit to not more than 5 or 6. It should summarise things so it doesn't need to be insanely long. WE don't want to still be in Phase Five come 2015 if at all possible (though I wouldn't be surprised if it's 2015 by the time we get to phase 10 lol)

Entries go on this Board.

90 points possible, 3 judges

  • Grammar/Spelling: 1 to 10 points, Tiny typos can be overlooked, but obviously they have to be legible, so massive grammar and spelling issues will have points deducted.
  • Creativity: 1 to 10 points, How creative is it? Boring and overdone, or interesting and detailed? Did you copy the book reason for something (like blaming it on Kronos or Gaia)?
  • Realism: 1 to 10 points, There is such thing as too creative. The reasons should still relatively coincide with Rick's books and Greek/Roman myths.

Judges Scoring/Discussion Board

Any Incomplete/Unfinished Entries
Anyone who doesn't complete this will be given 0 points. If more than one person doesn't complete, we will probably pair off users for teams who also had incompletes.

Please remember to pull down the team scores to the bottom status section.
The four users eliminated at the end of phase Four will have to be removed/crossed out.

Phase SixEdit

OK, so now we know why this whole fiasco started (or well, we will once phase 5 completes lol). Sometimes, especially early on in war, the two sides may try to work things out diplomatically by each sending a representative to neutral territory. In this the 28 remaining characters will be paired up randomly, 1 Greek with 1 Roman.

This isn't necessarily a fight, though if you choose to end the confrontation with a fight, that is up to you. The point of this exercise isn't just to beat your enemy, but see how well you can work diplomatically with them to attempt a peaceful solution.

The posts need to be at least 6 posts from each user in the roleplay in order to count as complete, but users may post as much as they'd like, though I would suggest keeping it in the 6 to 12 post per user area.

When each group is done roleplaying/fighting they need to contact Bach or another Admin so we can get things judged.

Judging Criteria

300 points total possible score, 3 judges

  • Spelling/Grammar: 1 to 25 points, self-explanatory
  • Fair/Realistic: 1 to 25 points, basic fairness, if it led to a fight, are the posts fair, no godmodding, not too OP, no metagaming, etc.
  • Creativity: 1 to 25 points, How creative are the posts, the direction they bring the rp
  • OOC Teamwork: 1 to 25 points, In some ways your characters are against each other, but in other ways they are also trying to possibly work things out without actually fighting. This will require some level of OOC planning, what direction do you want to take it, on the other hand at the end of the day you're also still enemies and on opposite teams. You need to find balance between making the rp flow, while still staying true to the fact that you are enemies.

Phase 7 - Immunity ChallengeEdit

Down to 24 characters, 12 per side.

This is another elimination phase, but as usual, different than what we've done so far. One important thing this event is stressing throughout, is the importance of team-work. Even if in character that person is your enemy, it is still important to have some level of team-work so that the posts flow and everyone is on the same page. So far we've only been stressing team-work in small groups, but this event will stress the importance of teamwork in large groups.

In the game, there has been an attack, the causes of the attack have been learned, and the diplomatic solution has failed to achieve the desired results. It is time for each side to take a step back and plan their next moves carefully. This means planning not just future attacks, but also plans on how to defend their camp from the other team, especially in how to keep campers safe that, for whatever reasons (too young, too inexperienced, not healthy enough, etc) aren't able to fight in this war.

On each side, the user's that remain, must now vote internally, and choose one user/character to lead things. We will be around to help things flow smoothly, but ultimately the choice is up to the team members who leads them. Once this phase begins, we will pick a reasonable time limit on how long it should take to choose, if a choice isn't made within that time, then I (Bach) will choose at random and because the team couldn't come to the decision themselves, 25 points will be deducted from the team's score.

Greek Team:

Roman Team:

A leader has been chosen, they will now help guide the team towards making a defensive and offensive plan. They will start a roleplay,

The group will have x time (to be decided when we are at this phase and have a better idea of people's schedules and how long things are taking), to discuss defensive and offensive options in character and vote on a decision. If they wish to hold another vote, that is entirely up to them, as they are now leading that team towards making these types of decisions.

Once time is up, first the number of posts each user did will be counted. For each post a user/character makes, 5 points will be added to the overall team score. For any user/character that does not make any posts at all, 25 points will be deducted from the overall team score.

The hardest part of this step will be for each team to vote on two things.

  • One user will be voted for elimination from this round, and
  • One user as the "winner"

The user voted off should be someone helped the least, made things difficult, hardly participated (and without any apparent good reasons for their lack of participation especially if they didn't give a warning or try to find someone to cover their character).

The user voted as the winner of the phase should be the user who actively posted, perhaps even posted the most, their posts were helpful, insightful, maybe their ideas were the ones chosen for the defensive/offensive plans.

Final voting will take place on these pages ------->

Final Step

The final, and easiest, step is for the team leaders to bring the information to one of the Admins running this event (probably Bach). The winner chosen from each team as the most helpful wins an immunity card, and one player from each team has been eliminated. All the points will also be tallied up/subtracted and adjusted to the overall came score.

Phase 8 - A Plan in ActionEdit

Down to 20 characters, 10 per side.

After Phase Seven's immunity challenge, both sides should now at the very least, have a rough idea of how the group overall will be proceeding as a team effort for the defensive and offensive. You may not remember every detail perfectly, maybe you didn't get everything ironed out, but remember this isn't a last man standing on his own objective, this is a team effort. There may only be one user left at the end for the last phase, but if they aren't careful they could still lose it for the entire team where the overall game is concerned. TEAMWORK

In this phase we will once again randomly pair off Romans against Greeks, but not only will you not know who you are fighting until we pair you off, you also will not know whether you will be defending or attacking. Of the ten characters left on each team, five will be defending their home camp, and five will be sent to attack the enemy camp. The posts need to be at least 6 posts from each user in the roleplay in order to count as complete, but users may post as much as they'd like, though I would suggest keeping it in the 6 to 12 post per user area.

Judging/ScoringEdit

300 points total possible score, 3 judges

  • Spelling/Grammar: 1 to 20 points, self-explanatory
  • Fair/Realistic: 1 to 20 points, basic fairness, if it led to a fight, are the posts fair, no godmodding, not too OP, no metagaming, etc. Also, just because this is to some extent a fantasy world, there are still things that need to make sense. The more they use their powers, the more tired they should be; the more armour they wear and the tougher it is, the more tiring it would be to have on over time; etc.
  • Creativity: 1 to 20 points, How creative are the posts, the direction they bring the rp. Are you using more than just powers and weapons. However, there is a flip side to this, are you being too foofy and not constructive enough. Using lots of pretty adjectives and colourful big words does not win you the fight, you have to be both creative and realistic/constructive.
  • Offence/Defence: How are they fighting offensively and defensively. Also, how are their moves playing out against the overall plans the camp's had for defence and offence.
  • Balance: 1 to 20 points, Are your posts balanced? This could be achieved in a few ways. Perhaps one team-member stays on offence and the other on defence. Perhaps you switch back and forth evenly. What are you both relying on. If you are working together you should be in sync and fine balance between what you both are doing.

Incomplete/Not FinishingEdit

If a user doesn't get to at least 6 posts but other members in that roleplay did get their posts we will attempt to still judge it like it finished, but 15 points will be deducted for every user that doesn't get in at least 6 posts. We are going to try to make sure these teams are both fair, and work with users time zones, however if problems arise we can figure out something you simply have to notify me (Bach) or Brocky that there is a problem so we can fix it, if you don't tell us, then we can't help you.

OutcomeEdit

Four Romans and four Greeks with the lowest scores will be eliminated, unless they have immunity cards.

Phase 9 - Death & Collateral DamageEdit

Down to 12 characters, 6 per team.

These events and activities that concern fighting, especially with wars, are often a bit of a let down because no one dies. I mean most don't want to kill off their characters they've worked so hard on, and godmodding is out of the question. This phase, instead of focusing completely on single characters, each user's character is actually leading a squad of demigods into battle.

This does not mean that every user has to now create like 5 new characters each from the ground up, the other squad members are more like 'fodder'. They are there simply to fill out the roleplay and give the battle more semblance of a real battle, where people genuinely get very hurt and even die. However, the godmodding rules still apply, just because the squad members aren't someone's actual characters doesn't mean you can go ahead and force moves on them.

ExamplesEdit

Bad ExamplesEdit

Here is something you shouldn't do:

  • Jack: Jack orders most of his squad to take up defensive positions on the ridge, but as he looks around to the valley below where the enemy is working their way up, he decides he should send one of his men around to the left to attempt to flank the enemy. Jack chooses the two on his squad most trained in stealth, Meg and John, to head around and flank the enemy. Jack then heads with the others to dig into the defensive positions scattering some men in the bushes and some up in the trees. In the meantime, Meg and John, as quickly as they could while still being quiet, made their way towards the enemy Greeks. They stop once they are in sight of them, but remain hidden and out of sight.
  • Beth: As Beth and her squad make their way towards the Roman's encampment, she tries to make sure she keeps scouts on all sides just in case the enemy tried anything sneaky. As they get closer and closer to where the intel described the Roman's camp, Beth suddenly heard noises coming from her right. Feeling extra suspicious she ordered the area to be bombarded with a volley of arrows. After about 20 arrows were set flying, Beth moved towards the area, finding two dead Roman demigods.

So Jack was the character actually owned by the user and obviously John and Meg were just fodder, but that wouldn't give the owner of Beth the right to godmod them and kill them.

Good ExamplesEdit

Here is something you could do:

  • Jack: Jack orders most of his squad to take up defensive positions on the ridge, but as he looks around to the valley below where the enemy is working their way up, he decides he should send one of his men around to the left to attempt to flank the enemy. Jack chooses the two on his squad most trained in stealth, Meg and John, to head around and flank the enemy.
After about 20 arrows were set flying, Beth moved towards the area, to see if her caution had given any results.

Arrows are still fired, but now the owner of Jack has the ability to decide the outcome, are both killed, were they perhaps not quite in the area of the arrows but nearby, maybe they were only severely injured and they give themselves up as captives. Either way, now the decisions is up to Jack and it is no longer a godmod.

Please remember each user should have a minimum of 6 posts each to consider the fight long enough to judge, but you are not limited to 6 posts either. However, I would suggest trying to keep it no longer than 10 to 15 posts each so that we aren't still waiting to judge this match in 2016. There are two users per match, we will work with everyone so that no one is penalised or screwed if the user they are partnered with drops the ball and stops posting their required posts, but in order to stay on top of it we need everyone to keep me (Bach) and the other Admins (on both Wikis) apprised of what is going on with people's schedules and activity. Thank you.

OutcomeEdit

The 2 Greeks and 2 Romans with the highest scores will move on to the last round, the user with the highest score overall will be considered the Phase winner.
